Natalie is one decorated swimmer. She got her start in swimming when she was just six years old, and has since won 12 NCAA titles and five US National titles.

In 2004 she made the natural transition into the Olympic sphere, winning two Olympic gold medals for 100m backstroke and 800m freestyle relay. In 2008, she competed again and broke her own record on the 100m backstroke – going the distance in under one minute. In 2012, Natalie won another Olympic gold for the 100m backstroke and a silver medal for the 400m freestyle relay.
