Did you know that there was such a thing as a heptathlon? Well it turns out that there is, and that Jacqueline Kersee placed first three times for the United States in this competition while she was at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.
Before that she won a silver medal in the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984 followed by a bronze in 1996 in Atlanta. She set a world record for the heptathlon, and it is still held to this very day.
