[post_page_title]Shawn Johnson[/post_page_title]
Shawn Johnson entered the world of gymnastics at the young age of three. She was trained by Liang Chow from the beginning and worked very hard for many years to qualify for the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing, China.
It was in the games in China that Johnson won four Olympic medals – one gold for women’s balance beam, and three silver along with her women’s gymnastics team. Johnson wanted to continue and compete in the games and therefore maintained training schedule in order to be a part of the next games. Unfortunately, Johnson tore her ACL in a skiing accident and ended up retiring from her sport.
