Natalie Dormer was for years known for her beautiful, long locks – so people were pretty shocked when she showed up at the 2014 SAG Awards looking like this. She had suddenly changed her more traditional look for an edgy undercut, and had essentially shaved off half her hair.
Fans were more than surprised (and not necessarily in a good way), but Natalie soon revealed the reason for her drastic change. It was in preparation for her role in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.
