In some ways, a puppy can be very similar to a toddler. Puppies and toddlers tend to make a lot of noise, no matter the activity they’re doing. People who have never had either puppy or toddler usually think that the part with the noise is the problem, but they’re wrong. The most alarming sound-related situation is actually when they’re completely quiet.
If you live in a house with a puppy or with a toddler, and they’ve been quiet for some time – then you can be sure that something really naughty is happening or is about to happen. That was Shannon’s wake-up call, complete with Bailey walking over to her “looking guilty.”
