Celine grew up in a large artistic family in Quebec, Canada and despite not having much money the family was never short on love or encouragement. Celine seemed born with a drive to succeed in life and she soon realized music was her big passion in life. Her parents whole-heartedly supported her, and she started studying music on the family piano.
It didn’t take long before she also started writing her own songs. At this time little Celine still didn’t know English very well as the language spoken in her home and city is French. Her very first song she wrote with her mother and brother Jacques and it was called It Was Only A Dream.
