Seeming to alternate between world-famous celebs and people working in less celebrated area of show business, Bullock’s next beau was Austin-based musician Bob Schneider. Unlike most celebs, who opt to live in Hollywood or the surrounding area, Bullock lived in Texas for almost 20 years.
And from 1999 to 2001, she very quietly dated Schneider. Once again pulling strings, she got his songs on several of her movies, with their relationship being “one day a time,” she said. Still, she struggled with saying the L-word, feeling that the sky might fall the minute she says it.
