Though he certainly has those nice-guy looks, Tower was a tough guy at heart, and he proved that during his stint in American Gladiators. This was all but proven fact in the one show where Tower was brutally injured, only to come back mere hours later to finish. As with a few others, however, his role was only to be an alternate Gladiator when he began. Yet, once the crowd got to see him, he became a favorite almost instantly.
