Quite often, a player gets overhyped, and then people get disappointed that they aren’t living up to their promise. Such was not the case with Lonzo. Immediately, basketball fans across the world were taken by Lonzo’s unique talent. His time on UCLA displayed an exemplary playing style reminiscent of Magic Johnson and Jason Kidd, with a strong court vision that manages to stay several steps ahead of the game. He also rebounded the ball well, a rarity for a point guard.
