Kind stranger replies to letter a girl wrote her mother 'in heaven' on Mother's Day

In Ella’s card, addressed to ‘mummy in heaven’ she had carefully spelled out ‘Happy Mother’s Day, I love you’ and had also drawn a picture of what looked like her mother with wings.

On the card itself Ella had also drawn a minion to match the preprinted text ‘You’re one in a minion mum!’. The girl was clearly proud of her little card, which is heartbreaking in itself as everyone knew her mother wouldn’t get to read it.
