Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal were long considered to be the perfect pairing in basketball as the pair were almost unstoppable on the court. When the teammates eventually split up, many thought that it was the end of Kobe’s winning streak in the championship.
That was until Paul Gasol joined the Lakers. The team went on to win against the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic as Kobe took home his fifth championship win. Thankfully, the two players eventually put the feud behind them and rekindled their friendship.
