It may have taken 12 years for this now couple to go on their first date, but they actually met for the first time in 2010 while she was still married to her ex husband Marc Anthony; A Rod was also in a relationship with Cameron Diaz at the time.

Anthony had thrown the first pitch at Yankees vs. Mets game that day and there is even a photo snapped of the event where Lopez and A Rod are shaking hands and their eyes meet briefly. They both claim, however, that if they were single at the time, their relationship wouldn’t have worked and that it was for the best the way things ended up. Anyway, if she had married him right away, then maybe some of these iconic relationships never would have happened.
