During the date, we discovered that Lucy thinks of herself as headstrong, meaning if she wants to get her way, she’ll stop at nothing to make sure it happens. According to her, she has to “lay down the rules early” in a relationship to make sure her partners know exactly where things stand.
It’s a sensible approach, but perhaps a little intimidating for some people. Calum did seem to be enjoying himself on the date though, so it didn’t appear to bother him how headstrong Lucy was.
