Before they were shown to their table, Calum and Lucy had some time to get to know each other while sat at the restaurant bar. After a quick compliment, Calum handed over the flowers before asking Lucy what she was drinking. Then, after establishing that they both lived in London, Calum couldn’t help but slip into the conversation that his parents also owned a farm.
This was Calum letting Lucy now that his family had money, so it was pretty likely that he had some spare cash floating around. It’s never a bad thing to learn that someone is financially secure, and quite often when dating, it’s something that people actually look for in a partner.
