Like they do with all of their new products, McDonald’s created a campaign to get people interested o their McPickle burger, even though it was fake. The Australian McDonald’s social media account announced they were introducing the McPickle.

They said it was time to tuck into juicy pickles between sesame buns and filled with melted cheese. McDonald’s might have thought people would realize it was an April Fools’ but it actually woke something inside of people. Some who heard of the new sandwich were devastated to learn it wasn’t real.
