One of the biggest differences with the ring was the fact the band looked completely different. Initially, the jewelry had been crafted with a yellow gold band because that was Meghan’s favorite color. However, now it was a micro-pavé design that was much slimmer than the original. The change wasn’t something immediately noticeable, but when seen close-up, it was almost impossible to ignore.
As for the three diamonds that form the rest of the ring, it’s hard to say if they were still the same or not. From the looks of it, they hadn’t been altered in any way. However, there’s a chance they were given a finer cut to ensure they sparkled that little bit brighter. Whether they’d had anything done to them or not, that doesn’t change the fact that Meghan’s engagement ring definitely came out looking different to what we were all familiar with.
