Melissa Hollingsworth has been competing in the winter sports scene since 1995. A Canadian athlete who specializes in skeleton, she competed in the 2006 Winter Olympics skeleton event and won a bronze medal. A participator in the 2010 Winter Olympics as well, she made a very strong run against competitors such as the british Amy Williams, but ended up finishing in fifth place.
