Jackson was required to drive at 40 mph in the stunt and race toward a camera that was supposed to be lifted when she got there. The camera was being controlled by a crane, and on the final run, disaster struck, and Jackson hit the crane.
That resulted in some serious and life-threatening injuries to Jackson. They were filming the final take of the stunt when the camera was not lifted, but it was too late, and the damage had already been done to Jackson.
