Whittaker was actually targeted by thieves who stole whatever money he had left in 2007. He made the claims that thieves worked together to take all of his money from 12 different banks, with each thief cashing in a check.
Then as if that wasn’t bad enough, with little money left in the back, his house burned down in 2016. Luckily he and his wife were able to get out, but Whittaker’s home was not insured, and he lost everything.
