These NFL legends were never crowned champions

The Minnesota Vikings’ decision to move Chris Doleman from outside linebacker to defensive end is one that may still haunt teams from the late 80s and 90s. In 1989, the 8-time Pro Bowler recorded 21 sacks, nearly triple the amount of sacks he tallied the year before. Doleman played in ten postseasons, but never made it to a Super Bowl. He would finish his career with 150 sacks (good for fourth on the all-time list), 44 forced fumbles, eight interceptions and a spot in the Hall of Fame.
