These NFL legends were never crowned champions

LaDainian Tomlinson was a force to be reckoned with during his time with the San Diego Chargers. During his nine seasons with the team, Tomlinson rushed for 12,490 yards on 2,880 attempts. He led the league in rushing yardage twice and rushing touchdowns three times. He still ranks fifth on the all time rushing list. Tomlinson and the Chargers made five postseason appearances, but never made it past conference championships. He would go on to play two seasons in New York for the Jets, but eventually returned to San Diego on a one day contract, so he could retire as a Charger.
