Jack Youngblood made ten playoff appearances with his LA Rams between 1971 and 1984, including Super Bowl XIV. That year, 1979, Youngblood earned everyone’s respect for playing in the NFC title game and the Super Bowl with a fractured left fibula. They lost 31-19 to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Youngblood, a member of LA’s “fearsome Foursome,” was a 7-time Pro Bowl, 5-time All-Pro and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2001. Even though sacks weren’t an official statistic during his playing days, Youngblood tallied an estimated 151.5 sacks for his career.
