Larry Wilson was one of the greatest blitzing safeties of his era, yet he never even had a chance to play in a Super Bowl. In fact, he had never even played in a postseason game. But that shouldn’t take away from his incredibly successful career. The longtime St Louis Cardinal (1960-72) made 52 interceptions during his career and scored five touchdowns. He was an 8-time Pro Bowler and 5-time All-Pro player, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1978.
