Alan Page came close to winning a Super Bowl four times, along with the Purple People Eaters of the Minnesota Vikings in the late 1960s and early 70s. During his 12-years in Minnesota, the Vikings played in nine postseasons, including those four trips to the Super Bowl. He would go on to play in another wild card game during his four seasons with the Bears, a game they lost to the Eagles. Page was named MVP in 1971, is a 9-time Pro Bowler, 6-time All-Pro, and Hall of Famer.
