Believe it or not, but Courteney nearly didn’t get the part of Monica at all. In fact, the actress was asked to read for the role of Rachel Green instead, but the producers later realized Courteney would fit her character much better.

It was a decision they were going to love for the entirety of the show. Courteney soon brought Friends to life, and even took some of the ‘90s styles to the streets, especially with the actress’ love of mom jeans.
