Siblings are the best. When you’re growing up, they’re always there to play with and learn things from and those memories are invaluable later on. Not to mention they have your back no matter what. But then again, siblings are also the ones who steal your things, embarrass you in front of your high school crush and prank you in the most infuriating ways ever.
The older you get, the more you learn to appreciate your siblings, despite all their flaws. People do tend to mature with age, and the petty arguments from childhood become few and far in between. When going up to the family cabin for a well-needed ski vacation together with her boyfriend, this girl would unfortunately get the scare of a lifetime as her brother had carefully put together an unpleasant surprise.

Knowing his sister would come to the cabin the day after he had already left, he simply couldn’t help but seize the opportunity to do something special to welcome her. Walking into the kitchen and turning on the lights must for sure have waken her up after the long drive, and it’s probably a good thing she wasn’t alone but had her boyfriend to comfort her (and prevent her from strangling her brother).
