After growing up on the Island of Maui, Diana Kim’s family was split in two when her parents separated and divorced. After her home was broken in two and she moved away with her mother permanently, she began to lose contact with her father.

It was not something she wished to happen, but unfortunately for Diana, her life took hold, and her father became more and more absent.
