Let’s be honest; there are very few dancers who make their way onto the stage without any makeup on their face. Those who do ballet will often stick feathers to their eyebrows and go all “Black Swan” with their eyeliner. Those who do street dance normally go to town on the bright lipsticks and eyeshadow.
Those who belly dance even stick diamonds to their body. That’s just the way it is. However, taking off this makeup is just as difficult as applying it, and sometimes dancers just don’t bother at all. With minimal time and energy to get the makeup wipes out, you just leave it on and come to the conclusion that you’ll just have to stay like that forever.
