Rare photos of possible UFO sightings from the last century

On our tiny blue speck of a planet we like to call Earth, many have wondered what kind of creatures live outside our atmosphere. The existence of aliens seems absurd to some, but after these photos of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) started to surface, people became true believers.

We might as well start as early as possible, to give you an idea of how the legends grew. There had been talk of strange sightings for centuries, but with the advent of technological advancements such as photography, the early 20th century was when proof began emerging.

Here’s one of the first known photos of a UFO, taken in the 1920s somewhere in the USA. The quality isn’t great, but clear enough to make out an unusual flying speck in the distance.
