The very first role Cybill Shepherd played saw her nominated for a Golden Globe award! Starring alongside Jeff Bridges and Timothy Bottoms, Shepherd took on the role of Jacy Farrow in this 1971 semi-autobiographical movie.

It’s believed that Cybill was picked by the producer after being spotted on the cover of Glamour magazine back in 1970 – he instantly knew she was perfect for the part. Cybill Shepherd went on to star in several other critically acclaimed movies throughout the 1970s, including the controversial thriller, Taxi Driver.
