Barbra Streisand got her start in the ‘60s after launching a multitude of successful solo albums. Her feature in the musical rom-com “Funny Girl” at the end of the decade meant Streisand went into the ‘70s at the top of her game.

She soon scooped up even more acclaimed roles, including on a remake of musical drama “A Star Is Born,” and continued dominating the music charts with her albums. Streisand finished the decade with two Academy Awards and three Golden Globes, on top of the six Grammy’s she’d already won.
