New scam has been targeting owners of lost dogs

Dogs are called man’s best friend because they are the most loyal animals you could ever hope to own. They will adore you unconditionally, and the love our four-legged friends have for us is mutual. All dogs want in life is someone to love them, and to feed them, and take them on walks, and give them belly rubs. It seems they can actually be pretty demanding! Dogs are unlike cats because they can’t seem to look after themselves. In search of love, dogs can sometimes be a little too trusting of strangers who approach them, perhaps making them an easy target for scammers. There is a scam going around at the moment targeting dog owners, and many people are falling victim to the trick. The heartless scam is rampant, and dog owners everywhere need to take notice.

Owners of dogs in Merseyside, a region in the United Kingdom, have found themselves targeted along with the rest of Britain. They have been falling victim to a scam that has begun to really pick up steam since October 2018.

People’s pets have been going missing, and it looks as though they are being stolen by a certain group of people. All the dog owners want is their dogs returned to them safely, but people are holding them to ransom and demanding cash for the safe return of their pets. Of course, the owners are beside themselves worrying about their missing dogs and that state of mind is being taken advantage of by scammers.
