Goalkeepers are some of the most important members of any soccer team, and Rinat Dasayev is still considered one of the most famous and most talented goalkeepers to come out of Russia. However, it seems the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree in this family, as Rinat’s daughter has also inherited the athletic gene. Elmira Dassaeva used to be a professional gymnast and quickly made a name her herself as a talent to watch. In fact, she was named Russia’s Athlete of the Year in 2005!
