A search party was sent out near Jennifer’s condo, and where her car had turned up. Police officers performed a grid search of the area, but there was no sign that Jennifer was left outside in the woods or anything.
Along with Jennifer, the only items of hers that were missing were her personal items, like her iPod, cell phone, keys, purse, and briefcase. Investigators tried to locate her cell phone in the aftermath of her disappearance, but with no luck as it was presumed to be turned off.
