Being the frontman of a rock band is a dream many of us share, and one that Tom Petty got to enjoy as the lead singer of The Heartbreakers. This rockstar had just wrapped up his anniversary tour when the news spread of his passing.
It’s believed Tom completed the tour with a broken hip, and it was an accidental overdose of pain medication that saw him pass away from cardiac arrest. As the band was still so popular, it was the constant album sales that saw Tom taking home $20 million 2017.
