Legendary quarterback Drew Bledsoe made a huge impression on the football world before he retired in 2006. He played football in college for Washington State and joined the Patriots as the first overall pick in 1993.
As a parting gift to the Patriots, Bledsoe won the Super Bowl in the 2001 season. He was the youngest quarterback to reach 10,000 and 20,000 passing yards as well as making the most completions in a game with 45. Bledsoe retired in 2006 and is in the Patriots Hall of Fame.
