[post_page_title]Diana, Princess of Wales[/post_page_title]
Diana wasn’t always part of the Royal Family. In fact, she was raised by her parents, Viscount and Viscountess Althorp on the Sandringham Estate. Diana also traveled between Switzerland while she was at school. However, it seems as though there was a close relationship to the Royal Family before Diana had even taken her first steps. The family rented their home from Queen Elizabeth II.
Perhaps this was Diana’s way into the heart of Prince Charles after all? It’s said the Royals would often take vacations in the neighboring house, and Diana grew up playing with the youngsters in the family. It wasn’t until 1981 that she officially became part of the Royal Family after walking down the aisle with Prince Charles. Sadly, their marriage ended in divorce in 1996 before she tragically lost her life just one-year later.
