After a career spent bumping into people within the confines of the basketball court, you’d think Darko Milicic would have had enough of close contact. Instead, he tried to get into the sport of kickboxing after retirement in his home country, but found it wasn’t for him.
He eventually found happiness post-retirement in something much simpler, apple growing. The second overall draft in 2003 called time on basketball in 2012 and chooses to live a quiet life on his orchard in Serbia.
