Nancy had been raised in the ‘60s and ‘70s, where the idea of being your totally natural and authentic self was popularized. This view made so much sense to Nancy that it’s how she decided to lead her life; she wouldn’t alter her hair and appearance in an unnatural way. This wasn’t a strict ideal she had to force herself to stick to, it was just how she was.
It wasn’t even something she thought about, but she soon realized that she hadn’t cut her hair for an incredible 39 years. She had barely worried about a proper hair care routine. At the time it just didn’t seem like she needed one. However, as the years went by, Nancy started to realize that her beautiful, youthful hair had aged and might need a little help.
