Some families have a lot of history to their name. As if that wasn’t enough, some of us are lucky enough to hold onto that history. This woman wanted to move from Canada to the US back in 1963. There was just one thing that she needed: a visa.
Sadly. Smiling was prohibited, and she was worried that it looked more like a mugshot than a photo for a visa. The reality is the photo eventually became part of her journey to a new life in a new nation. What did her family think of this picture? That she looked like a movie star. We agree!
