Did you know that you used to be allowed to drive onto the beach to have the ultimate day out with your friends and family? That’s right; people would often pack up their picnic and grab their best swimsuit for a day by the sea.
One grandmother was one of the many that enjoyed all the perks in the 1940s as she posed with her car in the early 1940s. Some snaps scream “vintage,” and this is certainly one that makes it onto the list. Her grandkids couldn’t believe this photo of her, and rightfully so.
