Although the world knows him for his acting, appearing on TV and in films wasn’t actually Lee’s main ambition when he was younger. The Six Million Dollar Man star grew up desiring to make it big in the world of sports. After graduating from high school, Majors was awarded a scholarship so he could take his athletic talents to college. Unfortunately, disaster struck shortly before he had a chance to get his sporting career off the ground.

Several years into his degree, he was involved in an accident during the first football game of the season. Lee’s back was injured as a result, and it left the man paralyzed for several weeks. By the time he could move again, his chances of becoming a sports star had gone out the window. Left with no career prospects, he was forced to rethink his future, and that’s when he became an actor.
