After her initial success, Sandeno trained scrupulously for the 2004 Olympics in Greece, and the hard work paid off. With four medals under her belt, Sandeno not only topped the scoreboards as a singular swimmer, but she was also part of the American team to compete in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay, and set a brand new world record.
