With Yasmine’s health going downhill, and producers unwilling to work with her because she was “too difficult to deal with,” she was at a crossroads. She could either continue her descent or try to turn things around. Bleeth opted for the latter, preferring to try and resolve her problems in rehab rather than letting them consume her life.
She voluntarily entered into the Promises Rehabilitation Clinic at the end of 2000, a decision she believed would save her. Sadly, although she managed to get clean in the facility, she didn’t stay sober for long.
