It seems as though Barbara has made it her mission to break records as the star became the first female co-host of an American news show when The Today Show employed Barbara. From there, it was time to become the first female co-anchor of an evening network news show with ABC News.
That’s not all. Barbara went on to be the host of the news magazine series 20/20 for no less than a quarter of a century before creating the first all-women daytime talk show with The View. Phew, that’s quite the list of achievements.
