The whole point of the ‘Freedom of Information Act’ is to supposedly provide British citizens with transparency into the workings of the government, so surely that means the royals should fall under this act, seeing as they’re part of the government too?
Well, think again. The monarchy is not obligated to provide any official information to anyone – hence why many royal skeptics don’t trust them when it comes to the misuse of their personal finances and trust funds. No one will ever know!
