Another tradition that was broken at their wedding was during their speeches. It’s a general tradition that the bride doesn’t do a speech, but in true Meghan fashion, she decided to say a few words.
This would have likely been a surprise for most of the aristocratic guests from the royal circle, but then again, the couple has always liked to break a few rules. Some even say Meghan decided to carry out her own toast due to the absence of her father, Thomas Markle.
