Zoo enraged by ‘disrespect’ of visitors who scratched names into a rhino’s back

Zoo de la Palmyre did respond to some of the criticism it was receiving for the fact their rhino appeared to be so underweight. Contrary to what people on social media thought, the zoo claimed that their rhino was getting plenty of food. In fact, they off an all-you-can-eat buffet of hay so the rhino can munch all day long if it wants. The zoo claimed the reason their rhino looks so underweight is because it’s now 35 years old and “no longer young.”
