The Fighting Irish have been a football powerhouse for decades, winning 11 national titles along the way. But they’ve enjoyed athletic success away from the football field as well, since the turn of the century, their women’s basketball team has made six Final Four appearances and won a national title, and they have won national championships in soccer, hockey, fencing and lacrosse.
