The Matthews family is NFL royalty. But we’re not even focusing on Clay Matthews III who is still playing. The focus of this post are his father and uncle. Clay and Bruce played in the NFL in the 80s, 90s and Bruce played in the early 2000s. Bruce was a 14-time Pro Bowler, seven-time All Pro and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007. His older brother was a four-time Pro Bowler. Neither of them won a Super Bowl, but Clay fathered Clay Matthews III who is still terrorizing the league, so that’s another accomplishment, right?
